Activities of Session 2017-18

1.

Organized an inter class essay writing competition on 21.3.2018 on "Education system in India" and Changing contours of Indian Judiciary.

2.

The department of Public Administration has organised a one day educational trip to the Parliament of India. A group of 41 students has toured the Sansad on 3.4.2018

Activities of Session 2018-19

1.

Screened movie ‘Samvidhaan: The Making of Indian Constitution’ direction by Shyam Benegal and created by Rajya Sabha TV on 6.9.2018. The movie is a ten-part television mini-series based on the making of the Indian Constitution.

Under the aegis of the department of Public Administration, Electoral Literacy Club has organized one day electoral literacy campaign in the college on 20.09.2018. The aim was to create awareness about the importance of vote and its power especially among youth who have not enlisted themselves in the voters list by the registering authority. Further, form 6 was distributed among the students to facilitate their registration in the electoral roll.

1.

Debate competition was organised to celebrate Teachers’ Day on 05.09.2019. Topic of debate was “Is It Time To Revisit The Reservation Policy?”  Total numbers of participants were 15.

Poster Making Competition was organised on 09.10.2019. Theme for Poster Making was “The Constitution of India”.  Total numbers of participants were 10.

Extension lecture was organised on “Importance of Voting in Democracy” on 12.10.2019. Resource person was Dr. Kavita Kharita, Assistant Professor of Political Science, GC Hisar.
