The college has two units of National Service Scheme, in which 106 volunteers each are enrolled every year. Through various activities, the volunteers are made to imbibe the dignity of labour and the spirit of social welfare.Each year one day camps and special seven day camps are held . This year a student has been selected pre RD parade . Entire unit is looked after by Captain (Dr.) Anita Joon.
An Army wing of the 7th Haryana Battalion N.C.C has been established in the college and it admits 106 students every year. In addition to undergoing regular drill training, the cadets are sent to participate in various N.C.C camps CATC,BLC,NIC,TSC where they are trained in shooting, map-reading, disaster management, first-aid, etc. Thus they are prepared for a career in the defence forces. The holders of the “C” certificate of NCC are offered direct commission in the Indian Army. Besides, they are given preference in recruitment to the paramilitary forces. They also earn extra marks for admission to higher studies and in job-interviews.Groomed in discipline and patriotism, the cadets always come forward to work for social issues whether they are invited to donate blood or to campaign to create awareness against female foeticite, crimes against women, AIDS or Pollution,Traffic rules, Tree Plantation, Water Harvesting,SBSI.
