Activity Name Events Organized
Orientation program 2019

Student orientation program will be held on 16 July 2019 in the college auditorium in the presence of principal Dr. Vijay Adlakha.

57th Convocation Function

57th Convocation Function was held on 3rd April 2109 in the presence of chief guest Sh. Idresh Kumar and Sh. Pawan Jindal.

Legal Literacy Cell

On March 14th various competitions were organized by Legal Literacy Cell in the presence of chief guest Sh. Narender Singh, CJM and Dr. Halima Sadia Rizvi, Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

Sports Day 2019

Sports Day was organized on 11th and 12th March 2019 in the presence of chief sh. Anup Yadav, Formar india kabaddi captain and Sh. Ashok Diwakar, VC Starex Universty, Gurugram.

Job Fair 2019

Job Fair was held on February 7 in which placement drive was conducted by 40 multinational companies and more than 500 students were recruited.

Zonal level Science Quiz Competition

Zonal level Science Quiz Competition was organized by Haryana State Council for Science and Technology, Panchkula, in the college premises on 18th January 2019.

Celebration of Surgical Strike Day

On 29th September 2018, Surgical Strike Day was celebrated in the college. Madam Principal Dr. Sushila Kumari presided over the function and the Mayor of the city Ms. Madhu Azad was the chief guest. The families of martyrs were honored and students and staff members spoke on the greatness of Indian Army. The Principal addressed the students and advised them to inculcate the feeling of patriotism and nation building in them.

College NSS Unit Activities 

In the last week of August, 2018, NSS unit celebrated Womenhood (Women Empowerment) and organized poster making competition and rally related to it. Also, a lecture from a guest was delivered on Women Safety issue. 


On 17th September 2018, as directed by higher authorities, NSS organized District Level Hindi Declamation Competition on the topic “Rashtra Nirman Mein Yuvaon Ki Bhumika”. It was the inter – college competition and students of different colleges of Gurugram district have participated in it. After listening to the valuable thoughts of students, finally we selected three prizes. And as directed, proceeded in that way.


On 19th September 2018, one day Camp was organized regarding Blood Donation Awareness. In this we motivated NSS volunteers to participate in Poster Making Competition & Rally to make students aware for blood donation.


On 24th September 2018, NSS Day was celebrated by encouraging students to share their views related to NSS. Volunteers were motivated by our worthy Principal Ma’am and other faculty members. Some students presented their poems and slogans in form of posters.

Hindi Day Celebration 

On 14th September 2018 Hindi day was celebrated by the Hindi Dept. of the college. On this day Hindi poetic recitation and essay competition was organized by Hindi Dept. Many students participated in these events. Principal delivered a lecture on the importance of Hindi.

Chemistry Dept Activities

The Department of chemistry celebrated Teacher's day on 5th Sep 2018. in the presence of Principal Dr. Sushila Sharma, a cultural program was performed by students including group song, poems, speech and play related with teacher's day.

Women Cell activities

As per the direction of DHE, under the programme, "Aarambh", Women cell organised different activities and competitions in the. On 23rd August 2018 slogan writing competition was organised in which around 50 students participated. On the same day a special assembly was organised in which which shared their views on the issues faced by women. On the second day an awareness Rally was conducted and a special lecture session was organised. On third day i.e. 25th August 2018, a signature drive was conducted under which students took a pledge to safeguard all the women in their surroundings. On the same day self defence training for a month has started in which 100 students have been enrolled.

Zoology Dept Activities

Department of Zoology has organized Poster Making competition on August 28, 2018 in the presence of Dr. Promila Yadav, Chemistry Dept and Dr. Madhu Arora, Chemistry Dept. Topics were Disaster Management (Save earth Save life), Water Harvesting, Endangered Species, Global Warming and Wildlife Conservation.

Online admission Training

A Training of online admission was held on 16 May 2018 for all Govt , Govt. Aided and self financing Degree College of Gurugram division (Gurugram, Mohindergarh, Mewaat, Faridabad a and Palwal) under the directions of DGHE, Panchkula. The admission process was started from 6th June 2018 and more than 15000 students applied for different courses in this college . All process was under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sushila Sharma. Dr. Sandeep Mann, Nodal Officer and his team done an appreciable job for admission. Different committees were constituted for admission.

Economics Dept. Activities

A poster making competition is being organized on 20-8-18 by economics department on following topics- Green India , Cashless India. Around 50 students participated in it. Ist prize got Kirti , 2nd prize got Yukti, 3rd prize got Kalpana.

Celebration of Independence Day 

Independence Day was celebrated in the college premises with great enthusiasm. The flag hoisting was done by the principal Dr. Sushila Kumari. Many students sang patriotic songs and speeches were delivered by staff members and the Principal addressed the students and the staff.

Day Celebration
  1. Various occasions like Teej (26.07.2017), Teacher’s Day (06.09.2017), Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Birthday (03.10.2017), World Freternity Day (16.09.2017), Anti-Corruption day(02.11.2017), Women Day (08.03.2018) etc were celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal.
Cultural Activities
  1. Talent Search competitions were held on 23.08.2017 & 24.08.2017, where more than 200 students participated.
  2. College students participated in District Level Youth Festival and won first prizes in Classical Instrument (Sitar) and Hindi Skit.
  3. College then participated in Inter Zonal Youth Festival held at MDU, Rohtak and did extraordinary bagging 04 first, 01 second and 01 third prizes.
  4. College participated in Zonal Youth Festival held at UILMS College, Gurugram where college bagged runners-up trophy 08 first, 05 second and 02 third prizes in various events.
Red Ribbon Club
  1. Club organized events during 1-15 Aug, 2017 on occasion of International Youth Day. A number of competitions/events were held during this fortnight including Poster making, awareness on AIDS. A pledge to help AIDS patients was taken by the students.
  2. During 23-Nov to 01-Dec 2017 events were organized to mark World Aids Day including poster making, slogan writing, storytelling and story writing etc.
Red Cross Society
  • Five day camp was organized during 15.01.2018 to 19.01.2018 under Red Cross Society, Gurugram.
  • During this “Health Awareness Camp” was held.
  • One day Brigade Officer Day was organized on 13.02.2018.
Women Empowerment
  1. Twenty days self defence camp was organised during Sept 2017.
  2. A lecture was delived by Ms Pooja Punchi on “Capacity Building”
  3. Free Heath evaluation camp was held on 07.11.2017.
  4. An event on “Gender Sensitive Crimes” and “Legal awareness” was held in Oct 2017.
  5. A workshop on self employment was organized durinf Sept 2017.
Legal Awareness
  1. College level Legal Cell competitions were held during Jan 2018.
  2. The Division Level competitions comprising of colleges from Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat, Rewari & Mahendergarh districts will held in the college.
  3. The winners of above competitions participated in District Level competitions held at Dronacharya Govt College, Gurugram.
