Education is a way of learning skills which prepare us for life itself. The announcement of our Honorable Chief Minister to open a new college – Govt. College for Girls, Kalanwali (Sirsa) is a welcome step in this direction. Apart from this, under the dynamic leadership of Smt. Jyoti Arora, Principal Secretary Higher Education Haryana, the education system is touching new heights. I feel immense pleasure in devoting time and energy for this emerging institution at Kalanwali. I believe that this institution will succeed in its aim to provide quality education to the girls of the area. Our aim is to inculcate students’ interest in higher education, to develop skills for employment and to mould our students as responsible citizens. We want to churn out success stories not only in academics but also in other fields so that the students can be made capable, sensitive, strong, responsible and humane. With this idea in mind, we lay special emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Since education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations, I invite all these participants to contribute in this noble task. Let’s come together and work for welfare of women through higher education so that the quality of life can be improved. I wish a bright future for this college and its stakeholders.
